*25 weeks*

Please excuse this picture. We were changing out our lightbulb and I wanted to put on stretchy pants before Andrew got to it (five minutes later) I need to learn patience! It say "Jack kicks when he hears daddy's voice"

I went into Baby's R Us for the first time this past week. I was a WRECK. Lately I find myself in Target lost in the baby section just staring at things. I figured, why not go to a store full of ONLY baby things to get my fix?? Oh Lord. I just wandered up and down every aisle (very, very slowly) crying at all the little boy things. I called Andrew sobbing because I was just so happy that we get to experience such an AMAZING part of life! Needless to say, I'm ready to start decorating our nursery. Like, yesterday.

So our little boy has had a very exciting few weeks! We had an ultrasound last Monday because he was growing big. Turns out, he's just a big ol' baby. I'm not surprised :) The Riggs girls were big babies and Andrew's long and lean, just like our boy! So, still have to make sure I'm only eating healthy carbs to make sure he's not a giant! But he's still healthy as can be, and active!! I seriously love just sitting on the couch watching my belly move. Being a part of this miracle is the most amazing, beautiful thing in the world.

How far along? 25 weeks

Maternity clothes? Ohhh yes. My regular shirts are a little too tight now haha I just mostly live in leggings

Stretch marks? Nope! fingers crossed i'll stay this lucky!

Sleep: Still pretty eh. I try to take naps during the day but I can't fall asleep, so I get a few hours in in the morning after Andrew leaves for the day. Probably because then I can take over the entire bed!

Best moment this week: So many :)
*Seeing Jack again and knowing how healthy he is. I'm so smitten already it's ridiculous.
*I'm officially a Mitchell! I just got my social security card in the mail :) I'm like a 14 year old, I am SO giddy in love with Andrew.
*Susan got to feel the baby move! On Mother's Day we all sat around and she just laid her hand on my belly and started talking to him. He gave her a big ol' kick :) Have I mentioned how amazing my in-laws are???

* Mother's Day in general! Andrew and I finally had a weekend to ourselves to just relax at home. He took me on a date night to dinner and to see Gatsby (so good!) Then spoiled me at Bath and Body Works with TUBS of body butter. I can't wait until next year when I have little man with me!

Miss Anything? Coffee!! And honestly, eating like a pig sometimes. It's amazing how much crap I put into my body before I became responsible for another life :) Which is also a nice reality check. No more shoveling a box of velveeta shells and cheese in my mouth after a long night out!

Movement: ALLL the time. Which I love :) I can tell he's starting to get bigger though because depending on where he is I feel all stuffed up.

Food cravings: Peanut butter. On everything. Or on a spoon. It doesnt matter. I wake up thinking I smell it haha SO good!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really!

Labor Signs: Hopefully none will be coming for a good while!

Symptoms: A little bit of back pain, if I'm on my feet too long they swell, tired, emotions (oh LORD emotions!)

Belly Button in or out? It's the strangest shape right now. Its mostly flat but some of it is poking out. So weird!

Wedding rings on or off? On! :)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Oh both. I've been really overwhelmed by God's grace this past week. I have a lot of times where I forget that He is the ruler of the ENTIRE universe! I've felt Him just nudging me a lot this week, whether it's a song on the radio I need to hear or the sermon our pastor is telling us. He has held my hand, heart, soul, you name it since the moment I found out we were pregnant (well, and long before that too!) He is my reassurance that He is in control, and that this pregnancy is His. I can't wait to raise our son to be better than I am and experience Jesus' love!

Looking forward to: Registering! And we go house hunting this weekend. :) Fingers crossed!!!
